As the first design hire and digital strategist, I owned brand identity, design, and development; storytelling and graphics; and strategy with great impact, driving x12 organic revenue growth in the first calendar year, with a projected x2 YOY growth through 2022.

APOGEE CANDLE CO.

Apogee Candle Co. was an indie candle company started by women of color bringing the scents they treasure into the world. As the only brand designer, I developed brand identity, branding design, packaging design, copywriting, web design, and marketing strategy.


Under my creative strategy, the brand reached Bobby Berk (of Queer Eye fame)’s list of favorite etsy products, and was featured on the front page of Etsy.
